BRAY - Thomas Harold, a long time resident of McLean, passed away at Indian Head, Sask, on Friday, October 30, 1981, at the age of 95 years. Born at Nottingham, England, on May 28th, 1886, he was a son of Thomas and Sarah Bray. He came to Canada with his parents at the age of three. his father taking up a homestead 20 miles southwest of Indian Head. In 1895 the family moved to McLean, and Harold received his education at Starr's Point School. He chose to farm and, at Regina in 1917, was married to Jean Daniels. In this respect he was an original Wheat Pool member, and served as Secretary of the McLean Committee for 41 years. He also served as Secretary Treasurer of the Milk Producers Association. Other community interests involved him in church, political and co-operative fields. He enjoyed reminiscing with family and friends about pioneer days, and quite frequently he would put his thoughts down on paper. His literary efforts produced a booklet entitled "Of Years Gone By". After retirement, his main hobby was reading. He celebrated his 95th birthday in May of this year. Funeral Services were held from McLean Bethel United Church on Wednesday, November 4th, 1981, the Rev. Donald A. Barss officiating. Interment followed at Regina Memorial Gardens.
